Hi, I am Rem! I studied Film and TV Production at Westminster Film School and now I work as an editor and director back in my home town of Amsterdam.

I’ve found this to be the best way to channel my lifelong obsession with reading, watching, and telling stories. As a result my work spans many genres and formats: TV series, feature films, music videos, documentaries, and branded content.

An unshakable habit of scribbling cartoons and doing silly voices has also landed me in the somewhat niche area of animation editing. Here I think my love of storytelling can truly flourish, as animation gives you a unique amount of freedom to shape the narrative up to the very end of the production process.

Much of the directing work you’ll find here is shot and edited by me, so you could say I also have quite a soft spot for camera and lighting gear.

Basically, if you’re into films in any shape or form, I think we’ll get on.
